After five heats, two semi finals and a grand final, Lithuania finally chose their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 on the 20th of December. After scoring the maximum 12 points from the jury and 8 points from the televoters, Andrius Pojavis went on to the 'super final' where his indie song Something was the victorious entry.

Andrius hails from Jurbarkas in Lithuania and has been involved in music since a very young age, being part of numerous bands whilst at school and university. After graduating from university, Andrius lived in Ireland for a year. He began to record his first album in Milan in 2012 and released the first single from the album in June 2012. The single reached the top twenty of the Lithuanian singles chart and his album Aštuoni was released to positive reviews and sales success.
